As if..
"Creating a life that reflects your values and satisfies your soul is a rare achievement. In a culture that relentlessly promotes avarice and excess as the good life, a person happy doing his own work is usually considered an eccentric, if not a subversive. Ambition is only understood if it's to rise to the top of some imaginary ladder of success. Someone who takes an undemanding job because it affords him the time to pursue other interests and activities is considered a flake. A person who abandons a career in order to stay home and raise children is considered not to be living up to his potential-AS IF a job title and and salary are the sole measure of human worth."- BILL WATTERSON

Filthy House Finalists
Fan videos always rock harder. True, or pseudo-esque art student films explore boundaries most professional filmographers and photographers wouldnt venture. Many of these often low budget films are set each year, to the season's hottest tunes. They are fan videos after all. Wouldn't see me taming llamas for a Chad Kroeger video.
Thunderheist has issued a calling contest, open video submission for their newest Filthy House jack tack, Jerk It. Now down to THREE finalists, you can CLICK HERE to view and vote for your most liked.
My Pick,
Thunderheist - Jerk It // Noel Paul and Stefan Moore (ThatGo)

New Chemical Brothers!
Following their fifth consecutive number 1 album last year, the Grammy award winning ‘We Are The Night’, The Chemical Brothers return with ‘Brotherhood’ a best of collection with a kick and a twist, set for release on 1st September 2008.
The Chemical Brothers have established themselves as true pioneers of electronic music and have become one of the most popular dance acts of all time. Now seems the perfect time to take stock of their seminal output with the double disc celebration that is Brotherhood.
Brotherhood comprises of 2 discs, the first is a collection of 13 undeniable benchmark Singles from the band's immense back catalogue and new track ‘Keep My Composure’ which features the shimmering flow of Baltimore’s Spank Rock.
The 2nd will feature exclusively Electronic Battle Weapons 1-10. Since 1996 Electronic Battle Weapons have acted as the laboratories for The Chems devious musical experiments and laid the rhythmic and melodic foundations for numerous tracks as well as providing some of the duos most formidable mixes. Until now Electronic Battle Weapons 1-9 have only been available on various limited formats and this is the first time they have been widely available.
Brotherhood will be preceded by the digital download single Midnight Madness on 4th August 2008. Derived and developed from Electronic Battle Weapons 10, Midnight Madness is The Chemical Brothers at their most infectious, euphoric, report to the dancefloor best.

M-Audio - XSessionPro Midi Controller
Recently I became a repetitive buyer of legally obtained music. iTunes didn't fare as well as I'd hoped and any site that needs external players is just a time waster, so we've settled with Beatport.com. If you spend any time inside a club or mature young demographic you have seen, or heard (pun def. intended, rewrote this sentence biaaatch) about Beatport. The site offers a varried and deep selection of current and cutting edge dance and electronic sounds. Cutting edge being the key - many local-international talent pools are emerging as top players in legally obtained dance music. But digital options differ widely; their quality, wave form, and availability are determining factors in choosing to purchase music and choosing to download less standardised trash.

The m-audio X-SessionPro midi controller allows DJ options in laptop portability. It is light weight and has a variety of tittilating knobules and faders. Shoooop Shoooop!
By syncronising hand-moven actions to an .MP3 software package, such as Traktor DJ Studio or Ableton Live, it allows a person to be a DJ without highly expensive equiptment. Download samples, loops, effects, any sonic tool, and you're already climbing the charts!

Reverse Graffiti - Part 2
I remembered this video from a while back, it has made the rounds but adds variety to the last post.
"Once you do this, you make people confront whether or not they like people cleaning walls or if they really have a problem with personal expression." -Paul "Moose" Curtis
