Daft and Disney

The robot-punks of France are set to record the music and soundtrack to Disney's Tron 2.0, a remake of the 80's original. A film about robots with a score by two of the most famous robot-people of all!

Not only will it be their first album recording since Human After All, but it's for a Disney feature film. One has to suspect that the duo's love of art films and technology has something to do with them jumping on board. Congrats! I don't watch much movies, especially Sci-Fi - but I could like this.

In party news - Shambhala is taking shape and looks like there is a tonne of excitement surrounding this year's camp. Aside from the $180 tickets (and increasing) the Western rave and party crews have hype'd it enough that my flatmate and I might hold a pre-fest. Pete Tong is also coming to the Warehouse in Calgary on Wednesday March 25th. Tonnes of Drum and Bass and Dubstep throughout the city! After the amazing night Caspa played we're looking to catch Rusko's LIVE set, alongside a new fave from the West - Excision. Still lots of weeklies to check out and we're hoping the Spring and Summer seasons bring even more top talent!
