We were in a dire need of some rocking bass music today. Rock and other music avenues hold their own right, but nothing pumps like electro. The Industrial Spies will be appearing at FUEL and plan to bring their new sound down to town.

What's with batty excitement and lazical rhyming?


Surely non-stop rocking, a drop from labelmate, and London, Ontario producer Klonez layed with Soulwax, Simian, Twoker, Moby+ a packed and ready set for any party. Let's just hope it doesn't rain at the beach this weekend!

Festival Biz

Cutting Edge Music Festival is this weekend. Me and my $120 ticket, a buddy of mine, no tent, stereo with batteries, what we manage to sneak into a cooler from our rents pantry, and my Mexican blanket plan to have a grand time. Grand showing last year; spread out with big, wide stages, awesome rigging, and a friendly atmosphere considering there were a few thousand drunks; the stuff that makes this trash-summer worth the work!

Fueled by Glastonbury Festival, I am demanding you all stream or download this set. Please? It will brighten up your day, you can sing along - cereal, it is epically catchy - and prepare to laze through Thursday, coast through Friday for a four-day holiday weekend!

The Verve

Been 11 years since these fellows last released an album. In 2008, they are set to drop Fourth on August 4th. The new album's first single, Love is Noise has been pre-released in video form and is currently inching its way up my top list.

Synchronicity in epic proportions, visualising love is not something taken lightly. The director of this video took this great song and has made it grand. My favourite element is the sound-activated 'fire tube,' which I will go out on a limb and say Maker's Faire? Further research claims it is a Ruben's Tube.

Sensation French break-through artist, Yelle, is set to debut her latest video for Ce Jeu. Directed by Yoann Lemoine, one can expect quirky, stylised production with retro-inspired elements. Both his film direction and photography illuminate current time under a dusting of pop-retro. Lemoine's eye-through-lens technique is definate fortified strength.
